All calls will be billed directly by your local service provider (eg, BT, NTL, Orange) at the rates quoted. There will be NO bills from us. For example, on your next phone bill you will be charged 80p for a 20 minute call to the United States using My Mondo. If your service provider is not BT (eg NTL, Telewest, TalkTalk), you will need to check their call rates to My Mondo access numbers but you will be charged in exactly the same way. At the time of publishing the cost of My Mondo calls from UK residential phone services were the same as BT's. Do I need to pay before I make my calls?
No there is no need to pre-pay before you make your calls. You will only pay for the calls that you make. The cost of your My Mondo call will appear on your usual phone bill from your phone service provider. The details of your call will be itemised on your bill. There is no need to pay any money directly to My Mondo.
Will I receive a bill from My Mondo?
No. Your calls will be charged by your normal phone service provider as with any other call you make with them.
How do I know how much my call cost?
When you receive your regular phone service provider's bill all My Mondo calls will be itemised along with your other calls. The call to the My Mondo access number that you used will be listed, not the international number that you dialed once you were connnected to the service. You will be able to see the call's time, date, duration, the cost and a description. Depending on your provider this will be labelled "Non-geographic number" or similar.
Do I need an account?
No, there is no need to open an account to use My Mondo. You can make a cheap international call now – simply dial the access number for the country you wish to call and then the number of the person that you wish to call.
Do I need to sign a contract?
No, there is no need to sign up for a contract with My Mondo. You can make cheap international phone calls from any UK phone service provider right now.
Do I need to make a credit card payment?
No. There is no need to pay any money directly to My Mondo.
Do I need to make an online payment?
No. You can make your cheap international phone call now – there is no need to make any online payments.
Is it more expensive during the day?
There's no peak rates with My Mondo just one price all day, every day. No peak, off-peak and weekend rates like a lot of other instant dial services.
Are there any connection charges?
None what so ever. You pay for making the call only. We don't try to pretend our rates our cheaper than they really are by adding on extra connection charges.
Are there any other hidden charges?
No we only charge you for the call you make. You may have found to your cost that pre-pay international phone cards often charge "maintenance" charges, “set-up” fees or other surcharges.
Do you charge by the second?
Yes. We believe that you should only pay for the service that you use. So we charge you for calling by the second, not the minute, from the moment you connect to the My Mondo service. You won't find any billing by the fifty five second minute or other tricks employed by some calling card companies.
